INTERNATIONAL MERCHANTS LIMITED started out as a Merchandising Company before veering into importation and assembling of electronics. In 1978, The Company became the Sole Agents/Suppliers of Matsunaga ‘Stavol’ Voltage Regulators (Stabilizers) in Nigeria and the whole of West Africa and has remained so till date. In 1979, we proudly became the first Company in Nigeria to start the importation and assembling of color television sets.

The ‘Stavol’ brand of Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR’S) is the best in the Nigerian market. In 1997 INTERNATIONAL MERCHANTS LIMITED branched out and opened a furniture department and in our tradition of being the best at whatever we do, we are bold to say that we make the best customized furniture in Nigeria; from church pews to lecture theatres, doors, windows, office and home furniture etcetera.
